First To Bluff Position

When you're under the gun, or in the blind, you should consider this. You'll be first to bet on the next round. This means you can be the first to bluff. The goal here is to call with any two cards, and then just bet at any board. I mean, what are the odds someone hit the board?

If someone calls or re-raises, just switch into calling mode so you can see what they have at the river.

The Other Draws

As a Donkophile you need recognize some extra draws. For example, if you have the ace of spades (and a diamond), and 2 spades come up, you are just two cards away from a not flush. Think of how surprised your opponents will be when you turn that over.

Runner runner draws don't come through as often, but when they do the element of surprise makes it so you get more chips.

Your voice can be one of your best weapons at a poker table. You should always yell at someone if they call your all in bet with some weak hand like top pair. NOTE: drinking will help you keep up with your yelling, duties.

If you're going to bluff, you should move in. It doesn't matter the size of the pot. If half your stack will win it, use all of it and really scare them.

You can actually play better when you have a buzz. It's just like driving. The enemy of playing like a Donkophile is fear, so drink until the fear is gone.

Donkophile Quality: Learn From TV

If you see a move work great on TV, you should certainly try it yourself. It looks easy and probably is. Remember, you're playing one hand at a time, so it's not like you need to setup a play. If a situation reminds you of something you saw on TV, go ahead and make the move.
